Lamprais
A Sri Lankan Dutch Burger delicacy. The word Lamprais is derived from the Dutch word “Lomprijst”, which loosely translates to mean a packet of food. This banana leaf wrapped treat comprises of a meat curry, ash plantain, Brinjal Pahi, seeni sambol, Blachan (shrimp paste), cutlet and finally rice cooked in stock.
